Top Hotels to stay at in the Cayman Islands

Looking for a hotel can be a hassle. To find one that has the right mixture of price, location and entertainment can be even more of a hassle. If visiting the Cayman Islands the following is a list of hotels with all the right combinations.

Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa

As the name indicates the Westin Grand Cayman is located in Seven Mile Beach, just 3 miles north of Georgetown. Apart from all the rooms which have a view of the ocean, this resort offers live entertainment 6 days a week. They also offer fun outdoor activities like sailing, parasailing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, and fishing. Trafalgar Square is within walking distance. They even employ babysitters, so that the parents can go out and have a day of fun.

Wyndham Reef Resort

For guests who want a specific vacation experience, the Wyndham Reef Resort is the go-to place. This hotel will give different package deals. After all, not everyone is into sailing, windsurfing etc. Apart from live entertainment, it offers plenty of opportunity for those who are into outdoor activities. In fact, it is the only full service, all- inclusive beach front resort in the Cayman Islands. Nearby attractions include Mission House and Meagre Bay Pond Animal Sanctuary The resort is located in Colliers, about 13 miles northeast of Bodden Town.

Grand Cayman Marriot Beach Resort

The previous two resorts mentioned here are smaller in size. However, Grand Cayman Marriot Beach Resort is a larger hotel. This hotel was newly renovated in 2005 and has close to 600 rooms. One of the good things of a larger resort is that there will be more options for eating as well as entertainment. The location of the resort is on Seven Mile Beach about 2 miles from Georgetown. They also offer outdoor activities such as kayaking, sailing, windsurfing and water skiing. For those into live entertainment, they have plenty of options.

Cobalt Coast Resort & Suites

For those who are into scuba diving, then look no further that Cobalt Coast Resorts & Suites. It’s no secret that the Cayman Islands has some of the best scuba diving. And this resort has some of the best staff to assist guests with that. Even guests who are not into scuba diving, have been known to go away from there as scuba diving enthusiasts. However, with only 20 rooms available, better to book as early as possible. Located in West Bay, they have hourly shuttles from the airport.
